No, I just think that young players should be provided with a decent level of education off the pitch to turn them into more rounded, balanced human beings instead of the pituatory r*tards that they so often are nowadays.(for_sure) * +

Young players in this country that show a bit of promise get loads of money thrown at them.Then we wonder why they go off the rails or don't make it. I wonder what i would have ended up like if someone gave me ten grand a week at sixteen.I managed to get p*ssed most of the week on a bursary.There has to be something done to keep them balanced until they are mature enough to handle it.Until then the promising youngsters will struggle to fulfill their early promise. * +

i dont think its an english problem, wales , scotland, n, ireland, rep ireland all awful is it the coaching quality at grass roots ? is it too many foreighn players in the prem stopping uk players progressing ? all i know is wales should clone a few bales and ramsey,s * +

You cant mix the two together at a young age (lol) kids, who play football all day versus a kid who study all day. Which one will have a higher chance in becoming a footballer? Obviously the kid who play football. There are smart young footballers but its rare and you dont want to pressure a kid at a young age to study. Maybe at a later age, then you can introduce education to the player. Think the most gifted player was fillipo inzaghi. He got a degree in accounting? But he's always offside so not very smart eitherway (lol) *
