just watching the re run of practice 1 and 2 and types not lasting long at all again! is this a trait we will see all season or is the last 2 circuits just harsher on tyres * +

Well if you followed f1 you would know that following Bridgestones decision to withdraw at the end of 2010 after 13 years in Formula One, Pirelli has taken over as the sports sole tyre supplier. The Italian company, last part of F1 in 1991, will provide all teams with rubber for the next three years. * +

And that the tyre allocation has been reduced for 2011, with 11 rather than 14 sets of dry-weather tyres available to each driver per race weekend. Also i think the tyres are made up of slightly softer componds that degrade faster than what the bridgstones did last season * +

so yes to answer your question we will being seeing this trait happening all season, and tyre management will be and even more cruical tactical tool than ever *
