Sacked. Not much of a surprise. Can't see him managing again but he'll have plenty of work on Sky or ESPN of he wants * +

I think he'll be back in management. he seems to want to do it and people will remember what he done getting sunderland promoted after their disastrous start under Quinn. i don't rate him myself but i think that's how it'll turn out. * +

He seemed to spend most of this and last season being a pundit. Maybe if he'd focussed more on managing his team and less time rabbiting on about us he'd still have a job. * +

I often think its difficult for great former players especially ones with big egos to work with smaller clubs simply because they spend half their time standing on the side of the pitch telling themselves how much better they are than everyone on the field * +

In fairness wen he was askd a Q at a press conference he tendd to answer honestly which made a change frm the blandness of sum of the other managers statements on the otha hand perhaps frm a profesional point of view he shud hav kept his mouth shut n concentrated on the job in hand * +
