why do man utd seemingly get to choose when they play aston villa? Maybe media portraying it wrong, but it does state that they had choice of which day to play the game which would be a complete joke * +

The game is on sat as scheduled, sky offered them a sunday slot for tv and they refused. * +

The game was moved from Saturday to Sunday for TV coverage. When we were scheduled to play Porto on the Tuesday Sky offered to move it back to Saturday and we said leave it as it is. * +

i don't understand why you get the choice though as didn't think it happened on other occasions. Although maybe i'm wrong and the media are pouncing on it as anything utd and title race is they're hot news now * +

Our TV game with Everton last month was moved from Saturday to Monday then back to Saturday so that Everton wouldnt have to play twice in 48 hours. * +
