Hi all ive not had a gud track record wiv phones, i had the w910i which kept freezin then i got the 6500 slide as a replacement but that keeps switchin off n bk on had 4 of these and my replacement is the g600 .. I read a bit of what ppl ave said about its slow on wap but it cnt be as slow as the 6500 .. So lets hear ur comments plz * +

Orange wnt offer me an s60 i had choice of a nkia 6500 blk or samsung u600 or 900 cnt remember which one and the g600 and was advised it was the better one out the 2. And whats a s60? * +

Go 2 s60 forum and u wil find out everythn u need 2 kno, bt basicly, s60 or series 60, is part of the symbian system, (symbian is an OS, lyk microsoft, bt it is 4 ur fone, mainly on nseries nokias, and newer samsungs, and a few other fones) it alows u 2 do almst anythng wid ur fone, download appz, lyk rotateme, divx, xplore, and many other thngs that a normal fone cant * +

i got the phone now and i must say up2 now it seems an ok phone but can anyone tell me how do i put a tune on my ringtone frm my memory card as the basic tone is pants? thanks x * +

S60 is a version of an operating system called symbian. Like windows is an operating system on your pc. Symbian is a smartphone operating system usually found on high end nokia phones. A smartphone operating system allows you to download 3rd party applications/progammes to add extra features to your phone. * +

In comparison non smartphones only allow the download of small progammes usually of type called java. *
