i use portel wap and bbr sites to test speeds but i did xperience a funny thing today after the network had underg0ne transformations...now im getting speeds of upto 49kbps on a gprs class10, d600... * +

i tested it in the morning and i was gettin speeds of 25kbps...at 1am at night iv got 36 kbps and now at 2.30am im gettin the speeds of 46-49kbps...is it possible on non-edge phon? which other sites do hav gprs tests? * +

wap.portel.it/speedLAT1.asp and wap.bbr.com ,or just g00gle, gprs speed test, the first three feedback are them...its fast and i can attribute that now on my pc its fun browsing with my d600 modem... * +

The portel url will automaticaly begin the test n u hav to click on stage two of the test...it loads 32kb of data over a period of time over n over about 15 seconds total time taken for the test and then displays the results to accuracy of two decimal... * +

Points...at bbr u hav to rather choose the size of data for the test...the results hav no points...just whole figures...portel is in italian but the results are in n0. form and u will understand... * +

right n0w im browsing with speeds of 40-45.3kbps...im loving it...2508 try the portel one with accuracy decimal points though they display same whole figures with bbr... * +

My service provider told me that the 45kbps is very slow as they expect one to reach 1.2mbps but due to network traffic it substacially reduces it to that on gprs n 120kbps on edge... * +
