When iam out and about i get the normal G symbol indicating Gprs activity. When iam home i get an E symbol instead. Anyone know what it is? Iam on 02 pay as you go in the uk. *

E means u have edge signal, its a bit faster than gprs. *

Ta for that. The E says edge is available but wouldnt you need different settings in your phone in order to take advantage of it? *

Depends on ur network, some networks dont require different settings while, some do, maybe some1 in the uk can help you *
