also check in your java options that you entered the correct wap provider settings, apn, ip adress n proxy if necessary. * +

if you want opera modded version (improved, new options, etc...) have a look there (some works on D600 as opera mini 1.2.3214) http://forsi.net.ru/java/opera/download.php and if you have troubles or need advices, just ask here or inbox me, i'll try to help. * +

@ ran2 you don't need data option for using opera mini, only wap access is required. I don't know your phone model but maybe you can change your java settings and enter your network provider infos. *
