oh but it does. When you 'delete' a file, all its doing is removing the pointer on the disk that addresses the file. The data is still there but can be written over. It may report lower storage space but rest assured it still has just as much as it did. It's just occupying data * +

it simply doesn't do anything towards explaining the pw's problem does it. what I posted doesn't profess to be an answer either. * +

yes it does, if you have reading comprehension. The memory is still there even if its addressed to something else. If and when PW needs it, its there and can be written to and overwrite previous data that was occupying the disk space. So in other words, thats how memory acts. Its no big deal. * +
