i used to find similar with some apps ,i think it was n95 and once youd connected by wifi that app wanted wifi only this was also definatly the case with googlemaps in n8 it would close the app if wifi was switched off * +

i can't do more setttings from the wi-fi, but i was in a are where i found other wireless connections and the linksys wouldn't show but my fone is still blocked on it. i'll try to make settings from the browser. * +

there should be an option in normal WiFi settings to make the fone ''forget'' that network. then it won't be able to keep asking for it.. * +

pfewww solved it. i went to settings and acces point and it was set to the linksys b****rd and i set the acces point to 'always ask' and now my yahoo messenger works as usual. * +
