Sorry if this is in the wrong section, can't seem to find the maemo part?The problem I'm having is updating my nokia n900's firmware OTA. The last time I used the phone was back in 09 when it first came out 2 years ago LOL I remember adding respitorys like devel etc and that's about it?When I go in app manager and click update it doesn't show an update for the phone? I'm on v10 and I'm sure there's a newer version?I don't have my laptop with me here so can't update via nok updater! Any * +

wait for crail or crazyone to mosey on by. but usually with Nokia, any updates stop coming after a certain period of time. * +

have you got the 'nokias system software updates' repo enabled? in app manager/catalogues. * +

connect to the internet, go to app man, click the top bar and pick catalogues. it will load them and there should be a software update one greyed out, click on it and tick the enable box. * +

it is enabled, whenever I go in app man, it doesn't always load the catalogues, somestimes shows it as empty! even when nokia software updater is enabled still no luck * +

weird. try it by terminal, take it you have rootsh installed?......... sudo gainroot apt-get update apt-get upgrade (enter) if that dont work then theres something wrong somewhere. dont try this on 1 bar of battery or anything lol. * +
