Nokia announced their Q1 results today, and Symbian and even S40 continue to lose their battle against Android and iOS even in Asia, Africa and the Middle-East, markets where Nokia's Smartphones and 'dumb'phones once ruled. Their overall units faced a huge drop and at this point Samsung may have overtaken Nokia in terms of world's largets manufacturer, we'll have to wait for Samsungs report to confirm that, on the bright side they sold over 2million Lumias (710 and 800) globaly. * +

...but it hasnt been enough to help their margins stop slimming nor Microsoft's share from continuing on a downward slope: http://is.gd/SSE377 and http://is.gd/03pSOD .Elop dislike .Never thought i would see Nokia in such a awful state, wouldn't be suprised if Microsoft eventualy acquire Nokia's hardware business. * +

Even if Samsung overtakes Nokia, the Finns will be the second biggest handset manufacturer. People are talking about RIM's death from years, and it's still there. And polo, Nokia has a cash reserve of about 50 billion euros. So Nokia won't go on a sale. Unfortunate for you, but it's a fact yes * +
