I thought s60v5 suppose to be an improved version of s60v3 but not, v3s manages ram more than v5s. WHY? * +

I launch opera 12 on both s60v5 v3 but v5 quickly ran out of ram memory and opera close while v3 still holds some free ram... Is it s60v5 general problem or what? * +

Thats because Nokia's S60v5 phones were loaded with a tiny 128mb RAM when S60v5 required 256mb, thats why N97 had issues especialy with widgets, there was a whole lot of drama around this issue. I remember if i wanted to run Opera Mobile on my 5800xm i had to shutdown SPB Shell, the two of them alone would eat up so much that Opera would crash. * +

Even not running spb,opera mobile is error for v5x but a good match for v3x with 96mb ram... s60v5x shouldn't have come to existence, who knows Maybe v5x/n97 is the reason why Elop called symbian a burning platform * +
