do you have messages on both fone memory and card ? thats a problem if you do. but otherwise goto messages/options/settings/other/memory in use.. if you haven't used it before it'll ask wen you switch memory whether you want to move your messages to fone memory. but the easiest way is not to format your memory card (depending on why you want to) but instead to just delete the private sys system and resource folders instead * +

if its not a faulty card your wanting to repair then deleting all the folders created by the OS is as good as a format. its better to delete the apps on your card from the app mngr first tho as otherwise they'll still leave some files on your fone memory n the fone might still think its installed. * +
