If you dont backup apps games it can get deleted because i dont have idea about update of s60 but my got deleted all games like poof the contacts are safe because i backed it up in pc * +

it depends on the fone and the type of update your getting. on pc it would wipe everything off the fone. doing it ota it might save your apps if the fone has UDP user data preservation. *
