@jazz, i'm currently posting with nokia C5-00 now, i've once experienced dat too. I tried 3 key format too but to no avail. So all i did was to loose d phone in pieces then re couple it back, and its has been working since then with 16gb memory card * +

Weird s**t from Nokia. Phone now starts up ok. Like it formated itself, all data gone. * +

Try and update it as well. My C5 was losing memory, but after the update i got most of it back *
