Galaxy tab is huge to be used as a phone and too odd to be a replacement for a netbook. A purposeless device indeed. * +

Not at all purposeless, fits perfectly between smartphone and netbook/laptop. I dnt always need to have to open my laptop to some web browsing, ebook reading, youtube-ing etc... yet at times even a 4inch display isn't enough and the tab10.1 fits perfectly. * +

another nice thing about tablets is how more and more newspaper and magazines make now have tablet optimized, so you can read on a nice big screen without having to have piles of them or having to open up a whole laptop. * +
