..maybe the best would be if you make a screenshot of your received picture message ('Symot Draw Sms' is the app which is making-editing,sending such a smsz,both v2 and v3 phones),then use default phones image editor and crop/cut the image from the screenshot..I'm lazy atm to check if such a message leaves any trace in private folder,to extract picture from there.. * +

..true,datuTM..but we may suppose he was talking about communication with phones without mms feature,he've got a sms picture message and want to extract that little pic..so retro,that picture mssg,with Symot app you can even draw your own1.. * +

..there are,also,some java 'appz' which are sending animated messages,and ems..but of course mms is the most modern..pitty it's size (and content) are limited..I like to blahblah/text a lot (my sms is always fully 160 chars written,lol),so I like e-mail method,as well.. * +
