If your prepared not having the battery cover on the n95 (using a case instead) then it takes a bl-6f battery which has about 30percent more capacity * +

In general turn screen brightness to lowest, you get used 2 it. Change connection 2 when needed rather than wen available, if your not using net based apps but just calls n texts while at work switch it into gsm mode rather than umts also close unused apps as that does have a tiny effect i believe too. *
