dnt format! U need to dlete some index files from cities/maploader .. Cant remember exactly which files but google it as its a common problem... Once u delete those files the update will work * +

thnx guyz! mk, i deleted those cities thingz. now i have v3.06 and the map is now showing. they should take new satellite fotos though cos my mamas house still has black roof. a * +
