Ive downloaded the south african map pack from within the app but I can't navigate without going online. Anybody know about a fix? Thank you! * +

i usually keep mine online but i switched it off by goin to internet settings in ovi maps and it still works perfectly... Get the latest version of ovi maps from nokia beta labs and try again.. Oh And i hv also downloaded the south african map. * +

my ovi maps version is 3.06 11wk07 b11 and my S.A map version is .00.02.42.122 release date 06.02.2011 .. Hpe tht helps! * +

Thank you for the reply my ovi maps version is 3.06 10wk50b12 and same map version as yours.The error that I'm getting when setting a new destination is : Can't travel from this position. Which is odd. As I get a lock instantly but it only shows my position as coordinates and no street names. But Ill try and update ovi maps from betalabs. Thanks. * +

then maybe the new maps doesnt have anythng for your location .. use map reporter in ovi maps to report it so that the next map update will have it * +
