I am soon to be eligible for an upgrade. There are two phones that have my attention at the moment. The Nokia E7 and any Android o.s phone. I like the E7 due to the size and the design, large screen and keypad. On the other hand the flexablity of the o.s is what worries me. Would it be a good investment to get the E7 or to finally move away from Symbian 3 and on to Android? * +

definitely an E7, if you're looking for a premium business phone, there is no other phone that's good enough. A new firmware update is just around the corner which brings a new symbian Ui and a better browser. * +

It would be best to move away, i'd suggest looking at HTC Desire Z, SE XPERIA Pro, and Motorola Milestone 2, they all have excellent web browsers with Flash10.1 and a 10.2 upgrade coming, a very reliable Push Email service there's also a ton of highly customisable Email apps like MailDroid if you want a bit more flexibility, a variety of free and paid Outlook sync apps, all have high res 800x480 * +

800x480 res screens, which are paticularly great for web browsing, ebooks, and emails. Unlike the E7, the Androids even have text reflow in the Email app(s) so no need for too much pan and zooming. Social Networking and Media is the best on them. If you want HDMI, USB-OTG, HD720p video, and great office tools, look at the SE XPERIA Pro,combines media, business, powerful hardware and social network * +

HDMI, USB-OTG, HD720p video, and great office tools, look at E7. Don't get fooled into buying anything from SE, they're worse than Nokia when it comes to software. Some of their phones are still running Android 1.6 simply because they don't have the know how to udpate them. * +

All of them are 2.1 and above, the latest are 2.3 and have already been said to be among the 1st to get 2.4 * +

Check out their reviews on gsmarena and buy the one which suits you. If you just need a suggestion, I'd say E7. * +

The fact devs were able to port the Arc's 2.3.2 ROM and launcher so early shows that SE's UI is a lot less intergrated into the OS, so updates will be coming fast, also Geohot ( the PS3 hacker) has recently begun hacking the XPERIA range with the X10 now and Play when it comes out, there's loads of to come in Android and SE. * +
