i can use my internet but my e71 says connection error when making a call...it sumtimes ses sim reg failed and id have no network at all * +

This sometimes work for me.. Slap the top back of the phone not too hard and not too soft either.. Should be ok .. * +

o my bad 4juice....but then i get that connection error msg all the time when i try make a call...i cant make or recieve calls but my internet works 24/7 * +

Switch out of dual mode in settings/phone/network/network mode. . . if the fone tries 2 switch during a call it ends up dropping it instead * +

thats the fix 4 this issue normally. U could try takin the battery out 4 a few secs @swiss n make a new connection with your network. plus branded firmware usually dont work as well as non branded 1's * +
