barcodes are found on most things you buy in shops and supermakets, they have encrypted data on the product you are buying.price,date of manufature,expiry date etc.you use the barcode reader to decode that data on your mobile phone * +

thats not really true @ezeki 1st off the 1 on digi's fone reads square barcodes which aint the 1's u c on products 2nd a normal barcode reader only detects the number thats represented by the code, its the computer system that the readers attached 2 that holds the info that associated 2 the code. the reader just detects wat the 13 digit number the barcode is * +
