Hey i i took my nokia 6120 to the phone shop so it could be unlocked and have the software updated and flash the phone with normally software ok so i get it back and it keeps turning it self off and when u charge it up it says its charging but after some time its still on one bar the phone shop said the ram was no good and need to be replace but ive never had any problems with this phone before * +

Was it a proper nokia care centre ? sounds like bs about the ram 2 cover 4 not knoin wat 2 do about it now they made your fone worse. Try and reflash it yourself n c if that helps. Emailing nokia for pointers would be a good idea too. thats all i got. * +

It was just a mobile phone repair shop for vodafone. I through they might of used buggy software, so i was thinking of gettin them to do the software again but flashing it probaley would be better like you just said.. But im interested to hear what people say about this * +

I got my phone bak yesday I got the shop 2do a another software update n everytime i play music on the music player the phone goes off n the shop said the ram on the phone was no good thats y it keep turning it self off other wise the phone will stay on if i do nothing with it the software is v 07.10 30-07-09 rm-243 nokia 6120c (B15.03) this is the info that comes up when i put in *0000 * +

assuming you wont pay to get repair or may not be worth it .. Grab the money with both hands. U cud try another mp3 player on phone in the mean time .or think of a newer model in new year. If your finances allow * +

or.. Get handy taskman manager to see what ram is on phone * +
