my gf droped her phone today and now it wont switch on just vibrates and stays black screen, is there ne way of turning it on ,or wil it be an expensive cheap repair or easy enuf to do my self with the right tools * +

Perhaps try removing the memcard and try start her up ..if all else fails try hard reset her by holding the greenish call key the redish call key and the camera key all together and start her up keep them held and pray .but its most likely hardware issue and will require a nokia technicion to repair .btw youll loose everything in phone if hardreset her but you carnt access that anyhows so it * +

Youll av to send it to a nokia doc...btw the vibrate and blank screen also occours when flashing the phone software goes wrong but it usually lightsup bland and not dark i wouldnt have thought dropping it would the software up so not worth try to deadflash it..perhaps a zif connector has moved and phone try to prevent damage by not starting up due to sencing somethings wrongish * +
