I've been following instructions on pnht. org to hack my N97. Im trying to downgrade from v22.0.110 to v21.0.45, I keep getting the error stating the phone cannot be downgraded, is v22.0.110 hackable? * +

ya u can hack it. Dont downgrade! You will brick your phone are you useinp JAF? Why dont you make your own cfw? Its easy as hell... Um ya good luck and dont download grade your fw * +

Thank you daorry. I did downgrade to v21.0.45 and like you said bricked my phone, it wouldn't turn on afterwards. I then done a dead usb flash with v22.0.110 and is working fine now, I found the rom patcher patch for this version and hacked it successfully. Does anyone with a N97 have a problem such as the screen burning in like what happens to plasma tv's? * +

I downloaded firmware using navifirm v0.4 though had to download N97 RM-505 APAC NEW ZEALAND White with product code 0576209 as N97 RM-505 APAC AUSTRALIA White with product code 0576208 isn't on the list of variants * +

I thought v21.0.45 was the latest firmware hackable, turns out it isn't so would rather use v22 * +

All firmwares are hackable 
just go through s60 roms section on ipmart there are some really good cfws there. * +
