lol Gota love it, i dont even to mention Android around here, the s60 fans do it, then get defensive when its no longer convenient for them. Anyway, yeah im also suprised like biggz that S3 apps require signing, thought that was done away with in s60v5, surely there are other types of security measures that cn be put in place? Good thing though is that its now realy cheap to make apps for Symbian, so maybe it wont be that bad. * +

Open Source does not in any way means Unsecure. If you've used a Linux based PC OS you'd see that they're some of the most secure Operating systems around. Platform Security is a core part of the Symbian Ecosystem and its been so successful that it has rendered all Symbian Antivirus softwares obsolete. tea * +

What Nokia could've done better was to offer a root access to the Platform Security to the users who wanted it and were technically sound enough to understand it. * +
