Some faulty batteries do this. Stop using it and if there's a nokia centre near u, go and c them and tell them about it. They should offer 2 swap it 4 a new 1 if there decent folks * +

Every Nokia battery ive had since the N80 has done that after a year and a half or so of use, guess the same will happen to my 5800 next year. I would do what 3mel advised, stop using it as all it will do is get bigger, then ruin your batt cover and it will drain quickly. Rather get a new one. * +

I have no idea why it happens, could be too much charging and heat? I dont know, do you use your phone as a HSDPA modem and charge at the same time? as thats what i suspect it could be with mine, all that heat. * +

All batteries do this. It means the battery is nearing its death. Change it. * +
