This is an opinion poll. I have a 16GB X6 V21.0.004 RM559...apparently it is hackable with PNHT method...but I have failled to bring myself to this decission!! i have my own cert and key, I can sign my own apps but recently i discovered some (python) apps will only work on hacked phone. I need feed vack from all s60v5 hacked phone users...should I hack? * +

Yep,hack it 
you wont have to sign every app you install and there are lots of modds you can do, it totaly opens up your phone to new possibilities, im not sure how much there is for the X6 bt check Dailymobile and PNHT forum. * +

when you hack your phone, there's no problem updating it, you just will have to hack it again * +

Huh? but then that would mean difrent and newer hacking tools? For example HelloX only works on the older version of the X6 V12.0. something and not on the most recent firmware (which I have). * +

Nokia programmers are not dumb, they also read forums and knows about hacks, so generally when they update firmware they try new protections. However, sometimes old hacks like hellox still works or new one will come quickly to allow hacking again. So before you update your phone with a new f/w, just check if it's already hackable. * +

You can unhack easely, run hellox again you'll have this option. I never tried to downgrade f/w but read on several forums it's not possible, if you have backup of old firmware just try, you should get an error message or not. * +
