I didnt just look at the Menu either, ive watched tons of previews,as i wanted an N8 originaly, many of the previews covered features i used daily and i simply wasnt impressed, dsmobiles at M-R who has a test N8 also confirmed many of my thoughts, so i made sure i knew what i needed to know. Rafe's preview managed to make me realise i was waisting my time waiting for it. * +

Its good to do your own research, and at the end of the day depends on what you want in a smartphone. Watch plenty of previews and reviews from a variety of sources, read what those who have used it have got to say about it, again a variety of people. Rafe, Steve, Noah frm PD, dsmobiles etc...were my sources and reflecting what i want and need to what they said, i knew the N8 wouldnt totaly impress me. * +

seen some videos. seems a bit laggy at times. still the same old symbian. not as snappy as n900 or htc desire * +

I think its an awesome smartphone.but i would still want to do more research though before commiting to that bad boy (N8) *
