brought the fone back he told me the charger was broken so he tryed a new 1 and wat do u know same problem so i walked out of cpwh with a new n97 * +

ya i had same prob wit myn. wud take 8 hours to charge n still wudnt be completely chargd. so tuk it in n gt a new handset. no probs ever since. * +

My N97 does exactly the same is it the charging block or what coz i doubt they wil replace mine as its 5months old already nw it dnt wnt 2 charge at al anymore and when it does show its charging then it takes forever 2 show battery full and when i plug it out to see hw far the battery level is then the phone shows its stil charging even though its plugged out n wtf is up with that? Plz help and tnx * +

this is obviously a design fault as mine done it and new charger never resolved it.. My n97 is now near enough dead.. Nice enough phone but so many problems on mine and wouldnt buy another one. I noticed nokia have 2 charge points on the nokia n8 which makes me think it was a common issue. They have went back to the old pin connectors.. Much more reliable i think *
