Can the nokia 6230 take 512MB of a card? Iv just bought one of the internet -ebay- and its supposed to be 512MB but when i check the details , it tells me 80 MB. Please help. I spent to much on it. Thanx * +

I just went and checked the card in my brothers fone. It seems to be fine-says its got 490MB. But dont know why i still have 80MB. ...With the card, i can save over 13,000 high quality pictures-would this be normal for an 80 MB card? * +

I doubt it what version software is your phone using ? *#0000# to find out. I bet its version 4.28 that has a memory bug * +

6230s with a certain software version ses it has 80mb but it has 512. Write to the card using a card reader and ur pc n it'l be fine. Or get ur software upgraded at nearest nokia centre (free if still in waranty) * +

Just out of interest how much did u pay for it? Cos u can get cheap cards on www.Ebuyer.Co.Uk a 1gb card for 45 for example * +
