EDGE means Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution..... 3G means 3rd Generation............. 3G is more advanced and speed capable than EDGE..... * +

Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution..rest is ok.3g is more enhanced and rare amongst phones.Edge hardly works..only while downloading, speed is slightly increased. * +

@tap... There's some confusion in the abbreviation...lol........ At first I was also confused... But the correct is Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution.... Though some websites say as GSM......Btw the overall meaning is same..... * +
