can any 1 pls help ? i desperatly need 2 do full format on nokia 5300 ? its displaying memory full msg although nothing is on it an wont allow downloads tried 3key format and *7270 and they dont work ? any help please ?? * +

those are s60 format codes which your phone isn't. Check your memory status, inbox and any saved messages. You should have option in phone to reset to factory settings. It wont delete anything installed on your memory card if your phone has one but it will remove EVERYTHING on your phone, so use it with caution. * +

@dani.....I cant agree with u.......Resetting Factory Settings will not effect the phone memory as well..... It only makes all the settings to default..... So this process will not delete any files or folders in the phone memory...... * +

Goto gallery-options-memory status.If it displays alot of data at the messages,goto menu-messages-saved messages-multimedia messages and delete all the files.Also,goto the outbox and delete the multimedia messages,if any.But if you memory's full,the phone asks to delete something if you choose to download a file..you should delete unwanted files.And the factory settings only changes theme.. * +

@tap u r wrong s40 v3 phones can have unlimited mess storage i hav 1mb in my inbox didnt del it yet. it gets stored in phone memory and restoring fact settings not only changes theme but lots lik profiles app access issues call log etc * +
