Right, so apparently i used the wrong forum and i'm supposed to ask here. My friend has a 6500 and needs to block a number on mtn. How does she do that? * +

6500 is s40 series yea n takes java applications. Sad thing is that i dont think there are any blacklisting software available for s40 phones. I am not familiar with the 6500 so im not sure if there is any inbuilt app in it that can. * +

I use the slider series of 6500 and there's no number restriction application in it so far,i also use the latest software update. So i think if something like that shud be available it will be in a future update. * +

Ok thanx, hers is a bar fone. The network won't block only one number, they say it will block everything. Anything we can do in the mean time? Its kind of important she blocks this guy. * +

well um if its nuisance calling couldnt u contact the police? Some people would say number change but that can be a very long n awkward process. I personally say wait till he gives up. * +

Well she's on a contract so she can't change her number. And it's nothing threatening so she can't go to the police. He's just bugging her with messages about satan. So if there was a number blocking application, where would she get it? * +

u can try a java wap site called GetJar.com ... That has many java files. Or your friend IF POSSIBLE anyway can keep same sim n contract but change number of that sim. There could be a option there, im from a different country to u so dont know what the systems are your ends. * +

and if it does get extremely bad, your friend can sell her current phone n buy a s60 nokia which takes java and sis files. U can find several blacklisting softwares available for s60 nokias. * +
