hey i got a master code here to type in, so i switch phone off, take sim out and switch on again. it say continue without sim in and then goes straight to menu, i was like eh? i thort there be a screen to type unlock code in, does'nt seem to be anywhere to type it. any idea? *

think i seen u posting about getting a code to unlock your phone. Now firstly a mastercode doesnt unlock your phones networks... A mastercode is a master security code that bypasses any forgotten security code set within your phone. *

i remember now, u posted in a wap n mobiles forum thread? 2nd of all u put a none fixed network sim in your phone to bring up the menu u desire. I.e if your phone locked to orange n u wanted to insert a unlock code? Insert a o2 sim then start up your phone. Thats when a restriction code is normally requested. *

finally your phone is bb5... Not dct4 which is a lower n older standard s40 type. The guy who posted that he can calculate a code for u in that other thread already stated he using a dct4 calc meaning your code aint gona work but if u wana try then be my guest mate. It a code with a mixture of numbs n letters n symbols am i right? *
