Yeah it is possible, you will need to go to NOKIA.COM for full instructions... I cant advice you to do it at home though... * +

Same thing happened to me bout 1 n half month ago. While transferring a mp3 file from memo card to gallery my 6230i switched totally off n dead. Now if ya fone wont switch on again sorry but i think there's nothing u can do. Bring it to a nokia care center coz im not sure ull find a firmware version 4 da fone onto nokia.com (?) * +
