I've bought a 6230i yesterday and have downloaded some games and applications from www.getjar.com and www.nmobile.tk via card reader. But they are not working in my phone,saying-file format not supported. Though they are jad and jar files... Strange thing is that when i downloaded the same application from wap.getjar.com with my mobile,it is installed and working. Whats the problem? Can anyone tell me how can i download games/app's from internet using my card reader.. * +

App's n games downloaded from getjar are most of time supported by s40 phones coz adapted 4 s40 JAVA PROGRAM just like this 6230i. Use app's n games write in JAR version as long as u get an s40 nokia. But can u tell more about card reader? Is it an app 4 s40? * +

Thanx 4 reply.I've downloaded those games/app's which are supported by 6230i(told by getjar ppls),but i cant do anything with those!!! And card reader is a device(hardware),not a software.It is connected 2 the computer through usb port. * +

Shuvo07 ... 4 which phone did u get app's or games on 3w. getjar. com? I went there with my 6230i's browser and except da n6230 couldnt find any link 4 da 6230i. And if i go to getjar via wap i directly get 6230i's link. Note: there's a big difference between these 2 devices. * +

Games n apps downloade thru a card reader wont work ever,the reason y the same apps work wen u dwnload them thru wap is cuz they install automatically in the application/game folder * +

@ITENAWA...Oh! Im not sure if that was 6230i.But i thought both devices r java midp 2.0 supported and theres not any difference without cam memory.And theres a important thing that ive not downloaded those app's 4m my phone,ive downloaded them 1st in my pc,then sent it 2 MMC and then tried 2 install(as ive done in Symbian phones). @DONEGALX...r u sure that apps downloaded through card reader are not usable? If so,is there any process 2 install games/app's 4m MMC? * +

Yes @Shuvo02 i did understand u installed them with card reader. But mmc card cant read app's or games coz such stuff's run on JAVA PROGRAM. And there's not such program in mmc card. Dat 1 it use 4 video, mp3, pictures n so... * +
