To me the biggest difference 6230's screen 128x128pix is an s40 screen n 6230i's screen 208x208pix is very next to s60. That's what i think * +

The video quality is much betta, the photo quality is much betta and the screen is bigger. The nokia 6230i also has more colors than the 6230. Love u t * +
