its not v3. v3 is only the newer phones. 6230i is over a year old already. check www.nokia.com * +

I all depends,type *#0000# in standby mode.i hav a 6230i and its s40v3 ,v3.30 and it was built in 2005 * +

its v3. When you type *#0000# thats the version of software thats runnin in your phone. Not your version of phone. Software can be changed, updated but the phone will still be only s40v2. * +
