Yes... I can access GMail through Opera Mini 3. Not sure about attachments. * +

An alternative that works well is go to webxcope.Com then go to mail2web.Com/pda then log in with ya gmail account. If u customise ya mail2web account u only have to put ya pasword each time. U can view and send attachments * +

thanks to all and thanks to greggie but i jus mean with basic opera, not any modded version or third part link. So can it access gmail and download attachments with the basics? * +

You can view gmail through opera. You get basic html view though which hides the pictures.. So you can't download attachments.. * +

U dnt need Opera mini at all.Type in ur adres bar/or wteva-http://gmobile.sayni.net this wil take u straight 2 a login window,type in username and password and ur in ur gmail accnt,easy.Plus u cn dwnload and view attachments.Brilliant! * +
