I understand my phone needed to have the batt out and the phone placed near a radiator or fan or heater or fire (not too near obviously) but TWICE I stated the cover Wont come off! Im very grateful for youre advice but its not till the cover is free that I can follow it. * +

Get someting thin and try slide it in where the cover catch is to try 2 release it..my 6600 used be difficult to open bat cover a v/thin peice metal used release it no probz.................. * +

Must of been some sandwich Lmao. How much can one person drool! A hair dryer is best to use that way you control heat.but like u said you cant get back off. Time to see the experts. Hope you get it working. * +

It works now. Had it by the fire all night bout a foot away or two Mananged to jemmy the cover off with my Swiss army knife and wipe the sim and contacts. Put the batt back in and turn on. Hey presto. Good as ever. Thanks anyway. * +
