How da hell do u get n access point?i got a new nokia 6230i.i phned my operator n got my gprs setings n evrytng wrked nicely in terms of acess to wap but opera mini, n all other applications dat require gprs dnt wana go throught.i found out i need n acess point i phned da network n dey said i suposed to get it wit my gprs setings but i dnt ave it.plz can sum1 help me??im 4rm S.A * +

Dude..i had the same problem. I keep calling operator for settings and they didn't want to give it so i went to nokia's mobile web site got the java and modem settings saved it to my phone and activated it. And it wasn't working. Then i remembered to configure my access point. The name is java and the bearer is internet. Now i can go everywhere! I was so estatic!! Sorry, can't hide the joy. * +

Ok,ok. Heres the hint. Dont cal nutty operator. Goto nokia or ericsson website chos config settings, chos ur fone model, then ur country, then operator then kinds of settings u want like internet or wap.. Then congrats! * +

yep u usualy need igprs accesspoint for apps that connect .eg if m.ig.33 or mgmaps work then mini opera should.. * +
