i posted this in other forums to see if there was any consistency with phones and networks but alas i can see there isn't. Its confusing but you can only hope that since this is a relatively new app it is work in progress and will eventually work for everyone. * +

Works like a charm as any product by google. I just hate the size of it, 110kb is nothing to throw around. And it's not 'relatively new',it's just out and still a beta. * +
