So's for not replying, i only log in here when i'm totally bored out of my skull. Anyway try the *OLDER* version of the pc suite from its site. BTW I too had major problems connecting the phone even on winXP. Rule of thumb is if it fails,restart before trying again.. And you should definitely try 3rd party programs,the official suit sucks in a lot of aspects. * +
