Can anybody help ? My 6230 just switchd itself off and wudnt switch on again. Took it to local repair shop they say they cant do anythn that the softwares gone. Any ideas what i can do ? * +

If u sum1 that is online and downloading alot, it cud mean that ur ph's IC has blown meaning it has 2 b replacd and ur ph has 2 flashed. Try taking it 2 an aprovd nokia repair centre, if that aint da problem, then im clueless, let me know ok. * +

Was you on wap at time of the switch off. As this phone has a design fault with this when the cashe is full the phone reboots. Clearing the cashe often resolves this problem. If your phone refuses to start up again then this is a problem with the reboot and a software fault an as said above take to approved nokia center to have a software upgrade not a flash. This should cost 10 to 15 pound * +
