The thing is that i took the battery out with out switchin off the phone. Then the logo came on as a question mark. I tried downloading another one but it said downloadin failed. Wats the problem * +

I got same prob, dunno wat happened, theres a code to reset operator logo but havnt found one that works on my 6230. Had to put my network id back on now. * +

i don't think i've ever actually turned the phone off before taking the battery out, takes too long. Doing that didn't cause the problem, your best bet is a factory reset and leave it turned off for 24 hours with the battery out, then try again. Also, you could try turning the Operator Logo off and downloading a new one before turning it back on. Failing that, send it to nokia. * +

Factory reset doesn't delete your downloads. I know, i've done it. Took the memory card out first tho but all the stuff in phone memory stayed. * +
