.jad is not an application its just an descriptor file,it contains just digital signatures nothing else....but .jar is an app jar stands for java archive * +

ankit i asked this bcoz when i try to install jad file from my memory card. msg appear invalid jar thats why i ask this qestion. i can install jad file from net but not from mc hehe * +

Well, filename of both jad and jar should be the same .For example FileExplorer_ jad FileExplorer_ jar. rename both as FileExplorer. jad FileExplorer. jar with phone's rename option. When u will rename FileExplorer_jad to FileExplorer.jad it will show INVALID APPS. That is usual so don't delete it. After renaming FileExplorer.jar both file will join together. * +

@1ndr yes because jad is only discriptor file as arjunkr bro said above...it usually contains the url of the jar file.that is why if you try nto install via jad file it connects to internet and download the jar file itself....and in many phones jad file is also used for signing process........and adeeb posted above rename .jad to .jar hehe not 1ndr *
