A memory card should be detected normally and can be used with the phone it was locked... But in your case, the phone hangs... So, may be something damage has been done inside the memory card... If the phone doesn't hang in standby, put the memory card inside the n97 and try to access the card via data storage mood in a pc with data cable... * +

Hehehe, the trick will work i think if u have s60 phone, as u used password in s40 phone, then no other device let u take a Super computer can show it, write it ..... Only u can see the memory card on ur phone and in some cases same model phones. So bro buy a new memory card. * +

@munna... No, a locked memory card can be detected with pc via DATA STORAGE MOOD with cable connection if you use the same phone in which you locked... I've backed up all the data of a locked memory card of my friend with this process..... But, the phone have to be able to detect the card anyways... * +
